This design helps reduce operating current and electrical losses while mitigating hotspot risks, making the module well suited to large-scale ground-mounted installations.

For residential rooftops and commercial buildings, Suntech also showcased the Ultra T 3.0 475W Black-Through Bifacial Double-Glass Module. Its bifacial design allows the module to capture sunlight on both sides, with reflected light reaching the rear side to provide additional power generation potential depending on installation conditions. With a bifaciality of up to 90%, the module can benefit from rear-side irradiance to increase overall energy yield under suitable installation conditions.

For installations where glare control is particularly important, the Ultra T 3.0 475W Anti-Glare Module features an integrated all-black design that complements residential rooftops and modern building exteriors. Its optimised glass coating structure helps reduce reflected light, mitigating glare that could affect nearby residents and road users. Combining visual appeal with glare-reduction capabilities, the module is well suited to premium residential PV installations and urban building projects where aesthetics and reflected-light management are key considerations.

In addition to its PV modules, Suntech showcased N-type flexible silicon wafers, quarter-cut solar cells and other products, highlighting its manufacturing capabilities across multiple stages of the PV value chain.
